Lumière Cake Off Competition Rules and Regulations

1. All entries must be received by Midnight Monday 1st May, 2017.

2. Registration cards are available from:
Lumière Restaurant
The Grape Escape Wine Bar
or downloaded here - ENTER NOW.
The Registration cards or online forms need to be completed and delivered to Lumière Restaurant, Clarence Parade, Cheltenham GL50 3PA or emailed to info@lumiere.cc.

3. A £10 donation to National Star is required for each entry - either through the Every Day Hero Page or via cash or Cheque to Lumière Restaurant. Registration cards, which arrive without a donation, will be discarded.

4. Entrants must specify which category they are entering their Cake(s) into;
Adult Large Cake - Over 18's & single cake to feed 6+ people.
Adult Small Bites - Over 18's & 6 individual sweet bites; Cupcakes, Brownie, Biscuits etc
Family Large Cake - Individual or Team Members under 18's & single cake to feed 6+ people
Family Small Bites; Individual or Team Members under 18's & 6 individual sweet bites;
Cupcakes, Brownie, Biscuits etc

All entries will be also be entered Free of Charge into 'Best in Show' judged by our Celebrity Judging Panel and 'Best Presented Cake in Show' judged via Public vote.

5. Entries may be any shape, any flavour but NO NUTS please. Any entries, which do contain nuts either in the cake or as part of the decoration, will not be judged.

6. Please do not submit anything that needs refrigeration.

7. Entrants will need to bring their entries to StarBistro in Ullenwood between 9.30am and 11am on 7th May. Any entries received after this time will unfortunately not be judged. You will also receive a complimentary tea or coffee and free Vote for the 'Best Presented Cake' when you arrive.

8. All cakes entered must have been made in a hygienic environment with appropriate ingredients.

9. Judges reserve the right to disqualify an entry if they believe it does not comply with the rules set out for the competition.

10. Prizes will be awarded for all 6 Categories. Entrants can work individually or as a team but please note that prizes will be awarded per entry not per individual.

11. Lumiere Restaurant reserves the right to use all photographs taken at the event, pictures of your entries will be posted via social media on the day to enable your friends and family to Vote for 'Best Presented Cake in Show' - small donation will be required. These can be made via the donations page (please remind them to quote your Entry Number when they cast their vote) or in person at the StarBistro on the day after 2pm.

12. All entries must be the original work of the entrant and not store bought.

13. Competition winners will be announced at 3.30pm on 7th May, 2017 and prizes will be presented at this time.

14. All cake displays must be collected between 3.45pm and 4.30pm. Any left behind after this time will be donated to a Cheltenham Homeless Charity.
