Spring Newsletter
Spring has most certainly arrived here at the restaurant this week, after the madness of The Cheltenham Festival week & now the lighter evenings it definitely feels as though summer is not to far away. Spring is Jon’s favourite time of year in the kitchen too, the first of this season’s asparagus has just arrived and the boys are also eagerly anticipating the arrival of the first of the spring lamb.
NEW KITCHEN
Just whilst I’m on the subject of the kitchen, for those of you who might not already have seen it, we have had the most wonderful new kitchen installed in January; gone are the ancient gas range & refrigeration units older than my waitresses to be replaced with a state of the art induction hob, Rational & Adande draw fridges- our carbon footprint is now as small as possible (as is, hopefully, my electric bill!)

NEW SOUS CHEF
We are delighted to introduce Sean Beckerleg to our kitchen team as Sous Chef, Cornish born & bred, he comes to us from the 3AA Rosette Old Vicarage Hotel in Worfield, Shropshire.
NEW WINE LIST
Our new Spring wine list has also undergone a major overhaul. We now have a Verre du Vin unit, which is the latest in wine preservation technology, it gives us the ability to serve any bottle of wine by the glass & then reseal it without any damaging the quality of wine.

After all of your support last year we won The Cotswold Life Restaurant of the Year 2011, and we would love to do the triple and win again in 2012 but we need your votes!
